Belly button piercing & spray tan?
Next weekend im getting a spray tan and getting my belly button pierced, on the same day. Should I get the tan first so the tan chemicals dont go over my new piercing? I'd say just go in a tanning bed a couple of times. With lotion and goggle things of course.

I cant think of the name right now but it comes in 3shades darker then your natrual skin and 2 shades darker. im 13 and i think its fine to use it. it lasts only a couple days until you have to reapply. it cost about 12 dollars a bottle and it doesnt look orange. however i already have naturally medium skin so that may have an effect...but i dont think so. just remember to spray it everywhere. even if it is a fake tan...nobody can know!!also remember to spray your feet...once i didnt...BAD MISTAKE!!!
you can do it but its dumb looks fake. you know what i just found out also is those tanning bed? well they can get you skin cancer also i was shocked when i found that out. so the thing is being darnk isn't great. why not be proud of being light and use to your advantage. keep your hair light use light makeup and go girl go

I get them all the time. You need to make sure you shave and exfoliate before you go, and you can't wear any makeup, deoderant, or perfume (this might counteract with the tan). Make sure you pay special attention to exfoliating around your elbows and knees.
When you get there you will be given usually a disposable g-string (or you can wear your own underwear) and they will make you stand with your legs slightly apart and arms outstretched and spray it onto you. They will direct you if you need to move. They will then usually dry you down with a hairdryer or something similar. The whole process takes about 15 mins. Try not to wear a bra or tight fitting clothing after it to ensure it doesnt rub off.
You need about 6-8 hours for the tan to develop completely (don't have a shower in this time) so preferably get it the day BEFORE your party.
If you moisturise your skin every day it should last about a week or a week and a half.

However, you should probably rub it in a little to prevent spots and what not. It dries really quickly and it's good for hard to reach areas. The only bad thing is that it has a strong odor, or most of them do. I would recommend the Neutrogena MicroMist Tanning spray. It seemed to go on very evenly.
Spray Tanning booths: These may work the best but you do have to get them done repeatedly and they cost more than in the bottle or the lotion. However, they are done very well, and there are many different shades you can choose from. :) They usually cost from 20-$30.

I'd say just go in a tanning bed a couple of times. With lotion and goggle things of course.

I cant think of the name right now but it comes in 3shades darker then your natrual skin and 2 shades darker. im 13 and i think its fine to use it. it lasts only a couple days until you have to reapply. it cost about 12 dollars a bottle and it doesnt look orange. however i already have naturally medium skin so that may have an effect...but i dont think so. just remember to spray it everywhere. even if it is a fake tan...nobody can know!!also remember to spray your feet...once i didnt...BAD MISTAKE!!!

When you get there you will be given usually a disposable g-string (or you can wear your own underwear) and they will make you stand with your legs slightly apart and arms outstretched and spray it onto you. They will direct you if you need to move. They will then usually dry you down with a hairdryer or something similar. The whole process takes about 15 mins. Try not to wear a bra or tight fitting clothing after it to ensure it doesnt rub off.
You need about 6-8 hours for the tan to develop completely (don't have a shower in this time) so preferably get it the day BEFORE your party.
If you moisturise your skin every day it should last about a week or a week and a half.

Well, i'm naturally somewhat tanned because i'm asian, so really... I have absolutely no clue about that spray airbrush tan stuff! I just keep rubbing and rubbing so that it will hopefully come out even.

Not to sure about the spray. I've started using Jergens Natural Glow daily moisturizer - its great. After 3 days I can already see natural looking color plus skin is soft. It works, its inexpensive, easy to use - just rub it on and good for you!

Can spray tan cover light scars???
Ok so i had body acne when i was in 7th grade.. eh.. But then in 8th grade and my Freshmen year my scars became less noticeable.. I had started to use Cocoa Butter and Vitamin E.. but now i really want to get rid of those scars because i really want to try modeling.. But the problem is that I don't feel great with the skin i have.. And i was wondering if getting Spray Tanned would help?? Or if the tan would make my scars darker??Can spray tan cover light scars???

I have a few scars on my body and when I get a spray tan it makes all of your skin except any scars darker, which in return makes your scars look much lighter than the rest of your skin, almost a ';glowing'; look. I wanted to get dark quick so i tanned in a salon and spray tanned with the mystic tan system. the mystic tan was horrible i used the barrier cream and did everything the video said too do i looked orange and had streaks and in between my fingers and toes were all discolored and my toenails were like a yellow color for like 6 months! no joke! so if u do try spray tan dont do the mystic! tanning in a tanning bed should do fine you will get a beautiful color in a couple of tans. beware of the possible outcome with the spray tans.
I recommend getting airbrushed/spraytan (not mystictan), It cost's about $25-40 per spray with will last about a week. You can also buy a package for much less (6 for $100) or something close. The results are amazing, just remember to exfoliate,moisturize before your visit and wear loose clothing.

I've got really white skin (am a redhead) and my legs are like bright bright white and I burn really easily......... I'm going away soon and don't want to have such embarrassingly pale legs, is there any decent spray tan, or tanning moisturiser or anything I can use? In the U.K And It Comes In A gold Bottle I Found This Really good As It Doesn't Leave Streaks , But You do Need To Rub It In Properly , It's Not Too Expensive And It Smells Gorgeous !!!!! :D After A few days Of Putting It On You Will Notice A difference ,,, I Put It On Every Night After A Bath , Rubbed It in And After A few days I Did Notice A difference :D

ive had a spray tan done this evening for the 1st time and in some parts it looks black some dark brown,will it fade and even out once i shower tomorrowIve just had a spray tan?
well it will fade all over, so it's going to stay uneven until it gets to the shade where it's not very visible.
i suggest you get your own spray tan and even it up a bit after 1 wash so you don't look completley fake tanned.Ive just had a spray tan?
Once you've showed the excess uneven tan will wash off and leave you with an even, sexy tan! To maintain the evenness of the tan make sure you apply moisturising body lotion daily. When drying yourself after being in the shower, just dab your skin, no rapid harsh movements as this will uneven your tan!

If the spray tan you had done was a fake bake one at a salon it may not be the real fake bake as some salons are falsely advertising.. this isn't a problem for you it just means your tan wont be as natural looking as you probably wanted it, it will wear off in a few days x

I got this done recently, and I must say it is not for the bashful. You can wear underwear or something if you want (but it may get ruined),and you will obviously have lines. I recommend that you do it naked, because the girl who does it has seen it all anyways, and she said most people do it naked (I asked). My experience was in a little room, with a large fan. She sprayed me very carefully for about 5-10 minutes, while I stood with my arms and legs splayed out, so she didn't miss any nooks and crannies : ) Then, I was told to stand in front of the large fan (very, very cold) for about 10 more minutes while the spray tan dried.
The entire week before, I began using a loofah every day in the shower. There was a special scrub from the tanning place that does not leave a moisturizer on your skin that I used right before I went to get sprayed. That is not necessary. You cannot wear ANY moisturizer. I recommend that you shower right before you go.

In my opinion, fake tans look gross no matter what. I have 3 brothers, a boyfriend, and lots of guy friends who all think girls with fake tans look gross too. If you have naturally fair skin, embrace that! Stick with your natural beauty. Naturally dark skin is lovely, but a fake tan will look just like that--fake. People should be happy with the way they are. All different skin types and tones can be beautiful. :) If you're going for a ';healthy glow';, just use a little blush on your cheeks and maybe some bronzer if you know how to do it. I haven't mastered bronzer myself, so I don't usually use it, but I have some friends who know how to apply it correctly and it gives that glow look without looking fake. Before I looked at your video, I was planning to say yes. I figured you'd be super white (like me!). And a lot of people do look better with a little color. But after seeing your video, I think your skin color looks beautiful the way it is. You don't look too pale or washed out at all. I think your skin and hair color really compliment each other, and give you a very soft, pretty, classic look. It makes you stand out - which is what you want at a dance competition, right? If you get a spray tan, you'll look like everyone else. But if you want to try a spray tan, go ahead and give it a go. The nice thing about spray tans is they only last a short time. If you don't like it, you don't have to do it again. =)

My advice to would to use an alcohol free spray as the alcohol could potentionally remove any tan under armpits!

My spray tan didn't work?
I am blindingly white with fugly purple splotches all over my skin, so today I went to get a spray tan for the first time. I followed the exact instructions that the person who works there gave me. The tan is supposed to take 4-6 hours to develop. Right now it has been 6 hours and 10 minutes...and I am still just as white as I was to begin with. Tanning lotions and even just plain lying in the sun don't have any visible effect whatsoever on me. Also, when I signed the release form, it said spray tans are non-refundable. That isn't fair if it simply didn't work. Why am I so defective? Am I doomed to be pasty for the rest of my life? Why do you think it could be that nothing works for me?My spray tan didn't work?
What were the instructions that the salon gave you?
Although the tan is non refundable, it clearly didn't do what it promised to do so I would advise you go back to the salon and request that they fix the tan. They could give you another application of the product. What product did they use?
Have you tried using a tanning product with bronzers and go on a sun bed for a couple of mins to activate? I would strongly advise one of the bronzers from the australian gold range.

Some guys like pale girls. Spray tans make you turn orange. But if you want it to stay, I think you should've exfoliated your skin first.
i would go back to the tanning salon and tell them you realize spray tans are non refundable, but that it didn't work whatsoever, and you would like to go again for free. i'm super pasty too and i went and had a mystic tan at the beginning of the week and it made me really dark (and not orange)... so i cant understand why it wouldn't have worked. good luck!
well i sugest that you use jergens soft shimmmer
it makes fairly light skin turn into glowing skin under the sun if you use it imeddiatly is you use it more than once it will make your skin turn to a darker tone very slowly
or if that dosen't work than go to a tanning booth

My mother is a dermotologist and she reccomends that you ask a doctor about your condition and ask he/her to perscribe something that would flatter your skin and (finally) make it tanned!

It is my prom soon and i am having a spray tan. I am naturally quite pale so i was wondering how many days before the prom should i have it? how long will it last for? if i scrub my face before will it all come off??! ive never had one before so i dont know much about them

hey, you shud probably have it about 2 days before so it has time to develop and set, it will probably last around 7-10 days providing u do everything ur told to do, i have only ever used the st tropez tan, and with that u can wash as normal but it does fade a bit unevenly if u dnt exfoliate, when u go to have it done, this shud all be explained to u!

Spray Tan Mishap?
I just got a spray tan yesterday, and this morning I noticed a couple of flaws. Nothing too bad, luckily. On my neck, only the front part got colored and not the sides, so how do I prevent that next time I go tanning? Also, I have a splotch on my lower arm and on my arms, theres a line between color and no color. So, I go back hoping that this time would cover up the last one... well, hours after I turned darker orange in the orange places and I had beige spots all over. I would suggest that you scrub ur entire body and get a natural tan.

It was terrible! I felt like everyone was staring at me! My face looked like dirt got thrown on it. It looks okay on some people who are naturally tan or go tanning on top of getting a spray tan, that is because the base makes it look more even.
I have also tried tanning in the beds. I got somewhat darker IN TIME (barely) But then I stopped tanning because It wasn't the result I wanted for the price I was paying.

No it won't slow down getting a natural tan, however it won't offer the protection from burning like natural base tan will. A good base tan is about like wearing an SPF 15.
I would suggest you get a little bit of color from UV tanning at a salon along with that spray tan! The thing is, if you burn at all, even a little, you might end up as fair as you are now right after that trip to the beach!
If all you do is spray tan you will need to be sure to use a ton of sunscreen on the beach! Burning is what really damages your skin, not getting a base tan!Spray Tan Question?
Nope, you'll be able to tan just as good as you normally do, so when the spray tan wears off you'll be dark still.
You'll still be able to tan like normal. Spray tans don't normally last that long especially if you're going away in a hot country.

No it won't slow down getting a natural tan, however it won't offer the protection from burning like natural base tan will. A good base tan is about like wearing an SPF 15.
I would suggest you get a little bit of color from UV tanning at a salon along with that spray tan! The thing is, if you burn at all, even a little, you might end up as fair as you are now right after that trip to the beach!

Shops that sell Hair extentions and other productuct for ';black skin'; sell body foundations. They should also have testers so that you can pick the right colour for you..

Moisturise and sleep--let the cream work. For a week before the shoot go on a sun bed for 10 mins each day or as much as you can afford (as your salon what is safe for your skin).
Moisturise every night!
On the day of the shoot apply a bronzing gel or a cream with gold shimmery bits in. This will reflect of your sking and make your loevely dark skin look even nicer!!!!

i accidentally got finger spots on my thigh from a self spray tanner and i just want to even them out. ive tried lemon juice and rubbing alcohol but it didnt seem to work. maybe i'm just not doing it right though.

Professional spray tans are good. If they weren't the salons would go out of business, as people expect professional quality, and if they can do a better job themselves with some Johnsons then they're not going to go back.
Make sure you get your tan done by a beautician, not an automatic spray booth, as they tend to go everywhere. With a person spraying you, then can make it (slightly, it's very subtle) darker on your shoulders or places that tend to catch the sun. They can also make your bust look bigger, your stomach appear flatter, your waist slimmer and your legs and bum smaller with a shadow effect.
Watch out as some brands don't allow you to go swimming. Just go to a salon, they should have a leaflet with all the info. You should expect to pay about 拢20-拢35. Make sure you exfoliate before you go, and paint your nails so they don't absorb the tanning agent and go brown!! hope this helps, take care xI'm thinking of getting a spray tan...?

Also make sure you wear tiny pants. I wore French knickers and they don't provide anything so i had to be sprayed totally naked.
I would recommend it, I only had one coat and it lasted over a week. Just make sure you moisturise a lot once you've had it done to make it last longer.
Fake Bake is usually really good. I've had a few spray tans with this product and they've all turned out good!
DONT wear any deodorant before you go though - my underarms turned green the last time because I had used it before I went in!

Ignore this as a very good friend of mine did and suffer a tango feeling for days (Even scrubbing did not help then).
lol well you just have to make sure you put the lotion on your hands knees elbows and feet or else you will look dirty. you might even wanna find a place that will air brush a tan on you. that's what i do and they are flawless

My sagging behind had cast a shadow so the tan didn't get under the crease!!!

Shaving after a spray tan?
im going to get a spray tan done at a local salon, but how long after do i have to wait before i shave my legs? like how many days? also is it okay to take part in sport? or not incase i sweat? will this affect the tan?

Alright, I will tell you what my spray tanner tells me and my sister... I only get them every now and then but my sister gets them as soon as she is white again, so I am fairly knowledgeable about this haha.
First up, when you go there, wear loose dark clothes, maybe not a bra because the wire will rub, so I suggest a loose dark dress.. Tan can come off onto lighter dresses and stain, also tight clothes will rub the tan off.
If you have activities in the day see if you can get one at night because you cannot sweat, or get wet for the next 8 hours, it will cause the tan to go blotchy or uneven.. So basically you will just need to chill for the rest of the day.
Another thing is, after a spray tan, you probably wouldn't want to be seen in public straight after you get it, because it can look a bit weird and drippy and uneven, but once you shower the next day it washes off the excess and looks smooth and even and good, just some advice :)

Sorry all fake tans stay for a few weeks the only thing you could do
is bathe in a bath for a long time so your skin is weak that you would have to scrub all the dead skin of your body

basically, like everyone has said, is to have a nice warm bath, and bathe in it, for about 30 mins/ an hour.. and that then allows your sking to soak in the moisture.
you can then also, if it doesnt ware away, you could also try exfoliating.
it works in a way that it takes all the dry/dead skin cells off the top of you skin, and makes room for the new ones to have time to be on your body, before you commence the cycle again.
just allow it time to fade, if that ^ ^ ^ ^ doesnt work.
it also depends on where abouts on your body it is- if its your legs, thats easy to hide, and let it fade.
its its your arms... its a bit trickier as its may be warm, so you'd need short sleeves.
if not.. just keep moisturising( this also lets all the moisture soak into your body)

well the one where the person sprays u, usually doesnt last that long and it can be streaky and uneven.. i mean it looks good at first but then it jus looks gross after a couple of days. ive never had one but my friend has...she looked ';dirty'; after like 3 or 4 days. i would suggest a mystic tan which is what i do...
but a couple tips r.
*take a shower no more than 2 hours before u go for ur tan. make sure u shave and do all that before u get ur tan b/c shaving makes it fade faster.
*ur gonna have a funny smell for the rest of the day so i would suggest going in the evening or afternoon.
*where loose fitting clothes when u go get ur tan b/c it still can rub off on ur clothes %26amp;%26amp; trust me i kno lolz
*dnt get wet or sweat up to 5hrs after u get the tan
*try 2 avoid using lotions up to two days after ur tan.. it makes the tan *** off easier u wana wait til its set in.
*if u do use lotion try the jergins w/the self tanner in it..it will help the fake tan last longer
*put sum chapstick on if they're gonna do ur face... it will make ur lips a brownish color if u dnt which isnt really noticable unless the person is right up in ur face lolz and o yea it tastes horrible
*pat dry after u get the tan

baby oil makes you really tan but i wouldnt recommend it as you can end up in the hospital. just go out and buy banana boat tanning oil. its great!
