take a shower before and then rub your body with a wash cloth after to get rid of dead skin, then put on a little lotion. this'll prevent blotchyness, etc.Getting a spray tan done?
i'd get it done earlier than a day.
tell the person spraying you you don't wanna look orange.
they will probably try to make you look natural... if they're nice
:]
just scrub very hard the night before
and the day of dont wear any makeup, lotions or deodorants
and wear loose fitting clothes
well u will be asked to pull ur arms n leggs in draw 4ward then back and yes the dryer parts of ur bod do get thicker looking and more dar i do not like them i am a designer
take sugar and mix it with a body wash
that exfoliates really well
also make sure you use enough of the transition lotion on your hands and feet when you go into the booth
:)
make sure its a really expensive one. the cheap ones leave blothes and make your face look orange.
when you shower dont SCRUB your skin with a cloth just use soap lightly with your hand, if you scrub some of the tan may come off.
i did spray tan before my senior prom which was about 4 years ago...it turned out horrible. so be careful! and make sure its not under about $40 bucks.
You need to use the barrier cream and make sure you get it done at a really professional place. Try getting it done once before you have to attend an occasion so that you can see how your skin reacts.
My BFF got it done right before my wedding. We now call her Oompa Loompa.
If you have orange spots you can use toothpaste to lighten them up. also there will be a lotion they tell you to put on certain spots on the body make sure you get a lot on your nails more so if you have fake nails.
if you dont have exfoliating products, try just using a rough washcloth to really exfoliate good especially focus on dry patches (elbows, knees, etc.) make sure to close your eyes of course! ummm dont forget to rub in after its done, thats pretty much the best way to avoid splotchiness.
moisturize the days after to make it last longer and keep exfoliating everytime you shower.
good luck!
